Who does your heavy thinking?
If it isn’t you, you can’t assume someone else is.
If you assume it’s your boss, how do you know they don’t assume you do?
If your team don’t, how are you creating space for them to reflect on the current and relevant theory which impacts their work?
If your peers don’t, you’re working in an echo chamber.
Heavy thinking needs time, energy and effort. Superficiality is commonplace. The abbreviated and micro pervade. Instant is preferred to the considered.
Your praxis demonstrates your thinking. If you don’t want to be seen as lightweight, someone has to do your heavy thinking.
It should be you.
