Performance support

I was speaking to a runner the other day and they were complaining of runner’s nipple. As a runner I’m acutely aware of the problem and the person asked me for advice. This isn’t something you can fix be learning differently. It’s impossible to change your technique so that rubbing is eliminated and you have to use something to fix the problem.

What you can learn about is the reasons why it happens (wet weather), different equipment (merino tops), or supplementary resources (petroleum jelly, runner gel, or gauze plasters).

If you work in learning and the next time someone comes to you about a problem they have that won’t be fixed by learning, please don’t suggest learning.
