We were all prepared to record the ‘Learning Technology One’ episode of the Women Talking About Learning podcast and realised there are probably LOADS of women who’d be interested in speaking on it.
So we’re going to do something different. Our online studio allows us to add an audience and let them join in and we thought it might be good, with such a wide and deep topic, to open the podcast up for more guests.
If you’re free on Friday 30th June from 3.00 to 4.00pm BST we’d love to invite you to participate in the recording of the episode.
We have plenty of spaces and would be keen to get as many women’s voices as possible involved in the recording. We use Riverside to record and it’s really easy to join in and be part of the gang. You will be able join in via your phone or tablet using the appropriate app, or via a chrome browser on a laptop or PC. PLEASE make sure you’re in a quiet place though – the local coffee shop isn’t great for sound! And although we use video to see each other, we only record audio!
Previous guests are welcome but we will prioritise women who haven’t been on the podcast yet; the aim is to amplify as many women’s voices as possible so new voices will get first go at it. We’re looking for women who can feed into some of these questions:
- What’s my experience of learning technology?
- What do people need to know about it?
- What’s my opinion of it?
- How are women affected by learning technology?
- What call to action do you have about learning technology?
- How can I help?
If you’re interested, please email hello@llarn.com and we can add you to the list and get the details of the recording to you.
This is a bit of an experiment for us and it will only work if we have enough guinea pigs volunteers to join in, so please do think about joining in if you can and we look forward to seeing, and more importantly, hearing from you on the 30th June.
