What do you need to make a difference?

I’m not especially happy with labels. They tend to be used to categorise people an activity which can minimise people’s attributes. However, I have been labelled an ally for my support for women in the learning and development world.

What does being an ally in this space look like?

I’m going to be doing some work later in the year on this and would be keen to get a sense of what makes good ‘allyship’* to you?

I’m looking for two things here:

  1. What skills, behaviours and attitudes do you think are essential to be supportive?
  2. What structures, frameworks, systems and processes would you expect these people to build?

Let me know in the comments or get in touch if you want to chat.

*It irks me to even type that word.
