I’ve been talking to an organisation about a LMS and there’s an interesting quote from a Harvard Business School Professor which springs to mind
“People don’t want to buy a quarter-inch drill. They want a quarter-inch hole!”
Theodore Levitt
People don’t want a LMS, they want:
- the security of finding out everyone’s completed their mandated health and safety training
- the confidence they can host more stuff
- the ability to host creative stuff
- to be able to point at a place where they can trust stuff is hosted
Your colleagues don’t want to do a course, they just want to be better.
