I was at the Learning Technologies Awards last night and it was great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

When we’re working in our siloed organisations, away from people in the industry, we forget how much of a community there is in learning and development. This shows itself in the ways people want to make good stuff happen and the sheer numbers of people who are out to help others more than themselves.

It’s worth taking time to reflect on some of these people sometimes and make sure you keep them close.
