We tried out a Learning Chat Live on Friday and it was either:

A complete nightmare. People couldn’t see messages, there was no direction, chat was lost, comments were difficult to see, people were in the wrong place, and some people never got in the event.

Or:

It was brilliant. We learnt tons about how LinkedIn Events worked, how to make sure we can get the best use of audio and video with chat, when and how we create events, how people join, how popular it is, how needed a regular place is, and how we’ll improve it next time.

We’re going to do another trial in a couple of weeks. We’ll put details out shortly but things we will make sure to include will be:

• Better audio connection
• Better chat
• Easier access
• Clearer visuals
• Focused conversation

Look out for when we try it again; we are quite sure this is needed, wanted, and will be successful.
