Micro learning is dead – I saw someone writing about nano learning recently.
I’ve decided this is still too large an amount and people want even less so we’re going to go smaller and are delighted to confirm we’re going to be producing pico-learning. Whereas a nano is one billionth of a unit, we’ll be producing something which is one trillionth of a unit. Imagine, just listening to 3 seconds of a podcast to get the message into your brain!
Too much? Try our femto-learning; one quadrillionth (1 followed by 15 zeroes) of a unit.
Still not enough time? Try our atto-learning which is one quintillionth of a unit. We’ll let you see one frame from a 7 and a half minute video and yes, you’ll still learn!
Of course we’re not going to be doing this; this is just an example of how the language we use – and hear – moves us further and further away from what our businesses want us to do which is simply help make their people better.
When we look at what people are marketing, don’t be afraid to challenge the words you hear.
