
I saw an article last week about why mentoring in the hybrid era is the key to employee engagement. It isn’t of course – engagement is a nebulous concept with imaginary metrics designed to make it ‘important’ for HR, and a single element won’t ever be the key to it.
However, mentoring IS a way to keep your employees committed to the organisation, create space for them to develop, work with senior leaders and managers, and build relationships across structures.
Use it to support the latter and the former might just happen.
