I was out and about yesterday.

Firstly, I went to the The CPD & Retrain Expo at the Excel. Having the chance to see what people outside my usual circles think about learning, development, training, coaching etc. was illuminating. Most interesting was chatting with other attendees and getting a sense of how far corporate learning is from on the ground activities which people do to develop themselves.

Later, I was at the Learning Technology awards dinner, catching up with people, having awesome conversations and generally letting the thinning hair down a bit.
