Fly fishing in deeper water

We frequently receive requests to be a guest on the Women Talking About Learning podcast. Often these are AI generated, agent-led approaches that bear no relation to the podcast, our style or design, or content and history.

This is trawling: casting your net out wide in the podcast space and seeing which podcasts you can catch.

When we look for guests, we much prefer fly-fishing: knowing where a rich vein of skill, experience and knowledge flows and targeting it.

The current streams we are casting our lines in include:

  • The Connections One
  • The Informal Learning One
  • The Strategic L&D One
  • The Apprenticeship One
  • The Curveball One
  • The Evaluation and Measurement One
  • The Graduate One

If you’re a woman working in learning, HR, or organisational development and one of these resonates, we’d love to hear from you. We particularly encourage first-timers. Nearly a quarter of our guests have never podcasted before.

What’s it like to be a guest?
Everything is remote. We’ll send you a guest guide before we record, so you know what to expect. Guests have described us as “a joy to work with”, and we take that seriously. We’re organised and professional, and we work hard to make sure you feel at ease.

If you know someone who’d be a good fit, don’t put their name forward without asking them first. Send them here and let them decide.
