About

It is not about a happy sheet…

I am determined that Learning and Development should be an integral part of business activity. Too often managers ask for training as an afterthought, and, since L&D haven’t been involved in the design, it fails.

Let’s get L&D included as an intrinsic part of business practice; we need to demonstrate its value, successes, and how it adds to the business performance. To do that I am touching nerves.

This blog is called Lost and Desperate since it describes the people who come to me:

Lost – they don’t know what they need to learn; Desperate – they know but don’t know how to access it.

All views here are entirely my own that I aim to update as often as possible. You’ll also find postings here about school governance and other random topics that strike a chord with me.

My about.me page is here.

My company is Llarn Learning.
