Lost and Desperate

Random ramblings that might, or might not, relate to training, learning, development, and management

Author: andrewjacobslnd

An L&D Manager, determined that Learning and Development should be an integral part of business activity. Too often managers ask for training as an afterthought, and, since L&D haven't been involved in the design, it fails. Let's get L&D included as an intrinsic part of business practice; we need to demonstrate its value, successes, and how it adds to the business performance.

Money’s too tight to mention

So, who has budget to spare to spend on training?  Come on, a show of hands is all I need. I had an idea a while ago that came to fruition last week.  I mentioned it in my blog last week – creation of a comic book activity that managers can action on the hoof, or as part of a larger programme of interventions. The feedback from users has been sound to date.  Comments have… Read More Measure for measure
