According to a series of tweets I saw yesterday from a “marketer, writer and speaker” (their description) they are also assets, and assets which you need to prepare a profit and loss statement for senior management. Apparently you need to do a SWOT analysis on them to decide on their “market potential”. This will inform what you invest in them.
