A few analogue days

I spent a day or so recently using as little technology as possible. That meant no laptop, tablet, kindle, and limited phone apps. It felt like a tough challenge beforehand and it was to a point. Then I started using replacements.

Instead of streaming music I listened to the radio.

Instead of typing up content, I used pen and paper again.

I watched some TV for the first time in ages and was distracted by a second screen.

It slowed the pace of things and gave me space.

I’ll do it again in the future but it’s not my preferred way of working – the pace would be too slow to manage everything I’d like to do.

Faced with a similar challenge, what #technology can you do without?
