If someone completes a time management course, does their timekeeping improve?

If it does improve, is it because the training worked, or because they were aware of their timekeeping?

If they were mandated to complete the training and their performance improved, is it because the training worked, or they were aware they were being challenged over their performance in this area?

Is the training course a placebo and simply a catalyst for something to change?
