Writing better

I’m writing more chapters for a book based on the 50 big ideas for learning I started a LONG time ago.

The practice of making sure I’m writing at least a thousand words a day doesn’t seem to be having a negative effect on my blog posts. Indeed, they seem – to me at least – a bit ‘better’.

Better can be many things but they feel more thought through and thinking in different ways. More importantly, I’ve got my mojo back, at least in writing, and after a couple of weeks of illness it feels ‘better’. I’ve also engaged someone to edit my ramblings in the book. This feels like it is also making my writing tighter and focused.

Perhaps I’m wrong and it makes no difference to the output. It does make me feel like it’s improving and that’s the most important element for me.

Who edits you at work? And how do you get ‘better’?
