We’re going to try something out on Friday this week. It’s a dummy run of the new chat we want to run from January and you’re all invited. Details are available here and it would be good to see who turns up, how it works and what we need to do to improve and finesse before we launch properly.

One of the things we’re doing is working out what topics people want to chat about when we get going in the New Year. We’ve had a load of ideas but are really keen to find out from people in the learning community about what matters to them. If you have a subject you’d like to see discussed, please comment below.

A few hints:

• Open and general questions work best
• Don’t specify the answers you want to hear from the question you ask
• Avoid either/or questions
• Try and make the questions non-sector specific; more people can join in afterwards
