I saw this last week – another article telling us how AI will impact learning.
In ‘How GenAI Could Accelerate Employee Learning and Development‘ there are some excellent points about how we’re in a period of change we haven’t seen before. Reskilling will likely be near the top of Don Taylor’s Global Sentiment Survey next year, and the impact of AI on learning is part of that.
However, AI in NOT a panacea for learning. Generative AI IS a revolutionary tool in learning but it will continue to perpetuate biases and requires substantial data inputs to work. Similarly, as we often hear, emotional and social learning matters to the people we work with.
As I said the other day, it’s a tool and should be used as such, not the answer to everything.
