I work pretty flexibly and can, in many cases, move things around for people. Someone wanted to meet with me and asked for some times. My initial suggestion was on a day where they were in an all day meeting but said:
…we’re breaking for lunch 1-2pm. I’ll send an invite for 1.30 if that’s ok?

No, it’s not OK. Someone is in an all day meeting and wants to use their rest time to book in to speak to me. I know the context and it’s important we meet but not ‘that’ urgent that it can’t wait a day or be moved around to accommodate them, and me.
We need to respect boundaries. If not, which boundaries will people cross with you because they think they can?
