Sharing is caring

It was noticeable yesterday how the sharing of events on Twitter/ X has changed.

On the first day of the Learning Technologies conference there were much fewer shares than we have had before.

It could be that people aren’t happy sharing on the platform any more. There has been a big shift in how users engage with Twitter/X now. I see an interesting change in how people use LinkedIn now when they might have used Twitter.

Or is it more fundamental than that? There is SO much data and information available, the nature of sharing has changed. Is there value in sharing if you know there is limited impact from sharing?
