I get it – we ARE being asked to do more with less. Budgets are being reviewed and L&D are expected to produce scalable content at lower cost. It’s no wonder people are being attracted to Large Language Models and other AI tools which can produce content at pace.

A few weeks ago someone mentioned to me that the time is probably right to resurrect some of the thoughts and approaches I had a few years ago. Knowing how to create more at lower cost, designing for the modern world, and understanding nil/neutral cost are key expectations of the learning function now.

I’ll be guesting on a webinar for the Learning Network on 21st May 2024 at 11am BST and we’ll spend an hour or so looking at how we can approach learning differently.

We’ll look at focusing where to innovate for the greatest impact, working better with your experts, and the change of role for L&D from service provider to business partner.

The Learning Network have made this session open to all – you don’t need to be a member to engage with it but I would strongly recommend joining. The mentoring, webinars, connections, and industry knowledge makes it amazing value. Yes, that word again.

If you want to know anything about the session or have specific questions you want covered, please let me know in the comments.
