Reaction videos have become a popular genre on YouTube. You can watch people film themselves reacting to various types of content such as music videos, movie trailers, etc.

They are relatable and engaging as viewers watch other people’s reactions and responses, creating a way for people to discover new experiences, and build communities.

How about using them as a way of getting cohorts of people doing learning activity to respond to learning support? Pick some content which your colleagues have completed and have a team of reviewers comment on it. You’ll be doing something original, spacing out learning, creating summaries and highlights, marketing your support in a way which some of your teams would love.

Your reactors need to have personality and be engaging speakers – how many people in your organisation want to improve their status and recognition?

You’ll need to make these reactions short and sharp – who wants to develop skills in audio and video editing?

We’re welcoming the real you in the workplace and authenticity – what’s more authentic than people telling others what they really think?

Let me know in the comments – would you try this, and if not, why not?
