I’ll be at the CIPD Festival of Work at London Excel. What’ll be different this time is that I’ll be there as a CIPD member. A decade ago I wrote about why I wouldn’t join the CIPD but both people and organisations do change.
Their focus is different now and feels more inclusive of different aspects of the people profession and open to being challenged and engaging with the diverse of thought and unusual in practice. Indeed, they have assigned me Chartered Fellow status. They have said:
…the impact and value that your work is delivering to both your clients and the wider HR community…demonstrated that you are a strong reflective practitioner, well read and researched, and you spend valuable reflection time assessing the most impactful approaches and build evidence to demonstrate impact and value.
Invite to Chartered Fellow – CIPD
As I said a couple of years ago it’s great to be recognised professionally for the work you do, and, I can only thank EVERYONE who has supported, engaged, argued, inspired, challenged, questioned, backed, promoted, contracted, slated, assisted, endorsed and generally been part of my network.
