I was reading one of those chain mail type messages the other day on BlueSky; this one was about music and asked the usual questions – first gig, loudest gig, etc.

These posts and round robin type messages are a way for people to talk about themselves and state their identity through whatever medium is being investigated. I always find it much more fun going back through the chains of these messages and see what people have mentioned. It is guaranteed I will find bands and music I haven’t heard before and open my ears and mind to alternatives to MSM – mainstream music.

Embrace diversity not by telling people why you’re unique, but listening to why they are.
