Monday was when I published my first post back after the New Year but it wasn’t really my post. I didn’t fancy doing too much work before I restarted the year so did a couple of work tasks while eating the last of the Christmas cheese.
In January 2023 I asked ChatGPT3 (as it was then) to write me a blog post for the New Year. It felt artificial and I published it knowing it was completely artificial.
In the two years since then, the tools have improved as has my understanding of how to use tools like LLM and image generators. As a consequence, Monday’s post – Setting expectations – was output prompted by me, written by GPT 4o, edited by me. I ran it through a GPT detecting tool, edited the obvious AI text and produce a post in my voice, with my focus, unidentifiable as AI produced.
It is streets ahead of the post I put out a couple of years back and highlights just how far the technology has come, but more importantly, how we’re working out how to use it better.
If you work in the knowledge economy, you need to have ABSOLUTE clarity about how you will need to work from now.
