I have an electric shaver. It’s more convenient than a wet razor and arguably better for the environment with zero single use plastic you find with traditional razors.
It does have one problem though; the cleaning brush. It’s a piece of plastic, about half the length of my little finger. It’s there to scoop out the cut hairs and keep the shaver clean. It really doesn’t work well; it’s too small and fiddly, its bristles come out, and I regularly drop it in the sink so have to keep the plug in to avoid losing it down the drain.
I went and got an old makeup brush, washed it out and use that instead. It has longer and softer bristles which get right into the cracks and create a much more effective cleaning experience.
Is your learning offer the micro brush which comes with the shaver, or do you show people all the other tools they can use? Trust me – they are looking for their own brushes. BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI) is placing selections of brushes in front of them, with quick answers, and laughing at your little piece of plastic.
