Testing testing

A blurred image featuring the LinkedIn reaction emojis, with the word "TESTING" displayed in large, bold orange text above and again in a smaller outline below.

It feels like the LinkedIn algorithm is broken. Posts from 3 weeks ago are still showing up, while fresh and valuable content seems stuck in an invisible queue – either to be promoted and dropped off the engagement line.

So, I’m running a (very unscientific) experiment to see if and how this post spreads and I need your help:

  • If the post appears in your timeline having been reacted to by someone, leave a comment.
Any comment but bonus points if it’s about the algorithm. Feel free to leave a reaction too!
  • If it appeared because someone reposted it, please repost it.
Just a plain reshare with no words.
  • If it appears as a repost, repost it again WITH the comment #TestingTesting.

I’ll track what happens and report back in a couple of weeks. Let’s see what the algorithm actually values.
