I was talking through with someone about compliance the other day. We recognised that it’s nothing more than:
Awareness
People are alerted that they have to do something.
Acquisition
People don’t know what they need to do and you need to help them understand it.
Application
People know what they need to do and use it in their daily work.
If you approach every learning activity you’re commissioned to do as acquisition, you’ll stay as a shopkeeper.
Valdis Krebs talks about a Triple-A operating system, which seems aligned with this.
