Someone asked me the other day if I’d do an interview/video/podcast about my career to date.

I declined.

Irrespective of whether the channel is right or the content appropriate, I recognised the value of another voxpop, from a middle aged white man who has had the benefit of his gender and race, is likely to be limited.

Is that the right decision?
