Part of my regular running routine is Parkrun a free, weekly, 5km timed run. I’ve done 110+ runs but have been stuck at the same time for a couple of years.
When I came back from my holiday I took 15 seconds from it and on Saturday I took a further 1 minute 20 seconds from it. The Bannister Effect was limiting my thinking of the long-standing PB.
