You’ll have people in work who can do anything. They’re first to volunteer, happy to stay and do more, always ready to fix things on their own.
They might be rewarded through recognition; most commonly they do it because they just want to help.
Regretfully, as great as heroes are, they’re unsustainable.
The skill of the effective LnD professional is to know who the heroes are and help them to role model, demonstrate, explain and support the next tranche of potential heroes.
