Since people know where everyone is right now (at home), it seems that everyone can now be asked to join a meeting. As Amanda Arrowsmith says:
…the last two weeks have been hell. My diary every morning is packed [with] calls. Everything has to be a meeting, everyone has to be involved in every call.

Dial-ins, call-ins, check-ins, catch-ups, video catch-ups, touch-bases, updates, video updates, pre-meets, pre-boards, in-touch, etc…
It doesn’t matter what you call them, you’re stealing people’s time. Someone I know had 13 meeting requests for the same day. I’m not sure this role models effective remote working behaviour.
Be sensible.
