Be resilient!

I had a Twitter conversation with the brilliant Christine Locher yesterday.

It was all prompted by this tweet:

What followed was the nightmare scenario of an e-learning module where resilience is gamified, resilience learning is certificated, and people who ‘pass’ are now resilient.

Resilience, like many core skills, is built on personal capacity, not personal ability.

Don’t, as learning functions, be dragged into conversations about providing learning support that is nothing to do with learning.
