We use assumptions all the time – we have to otherwise we’d be spending all of our days checking, re-checking, validating and confirming things that are held to be natural truths.

But some assumptions need to be challenged.

The most pervasive one is about online learning; learning online isn’t online learning.

Don’t assume that because people are learning online they want online learning.
