I connected with someone on LinkedIn yesterday. No real news there but it was someone who I’ve corresponded with, chatted with, argued and laughed with for years.

What we hadn’t done was make the connection ‘professional’ on a professional platform.

What with LinkedIn, Twitter, Slack, e-mail and the numerous Teams channels I’m part of, it’s REALLY difficult to concentrate on the work sometimes. Segregating the channels into work, social, topic or project can really help.

Knowing how connections move between them is the art of the exceptional networker.
