The funding gap

Seth Godin wrote last week about how the gap between amateur and professional has shrunk with the development of new tools.

The same applies to learning technologies. Replace marketers with learning providers in Godin’s penultimate paragraph:

And yet, more than a decade into this dramatic compression of the gap, big-time learning providers and industry players are still acting as if the gap is still there, as if their ‘professional’ creations are only competing with each other for attention.
