The April 2022 research from the Survey of Working Arrangements and Attitudes identifies the 3 key reasons people feel are benefits of going back to an office (at least occasionally):
- Face to face collaboration
- Socializing
- Better equipment
I don’t think people are being honest with answer number 1 by the way – I think they want co-operation to achieve their goals, not necessarily collaboration to achieve a common goal. Calling it collaboration makes it sound less selfish.
What would the responses be if we asked the benefits of going back to an office to learn?
