
Apparently Netflix has reported a drop in its number of subscribers for the first time ever.
Is it because people are screen fatigued? Have we had enough of looking at screens and want to connect with people physically more? The same question might be asked of learning and development and a move to face to face activity.
But.
What if people are leaving Netflix because they have Sky, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max, Apple TV and just can’t give Netflix that attention? The same might be the same for your learning platform and a drop in users as people use Slack, Yammer, YouTube, LinkedIn and their networks to learn.
Don’t assume why people might have stopped accessing your resources – do the research and find out what’s really driving the change.
