Themes

One of the benefits of writing a blog post every day is I’m able to step back and look at the whole with more depth.

I noticed my writing seems to focus on specific themes over the course of a few days, weeks, or months, and then move on. They’re reflections of my thought process at that point in time, and make for useful evidence when I’m reviewing what I’ve been thinking about.

For example, the physical step into self-employment wasn’t a big change from my comments about innovation and entrepreneurship, but made the posts much more about the what I do then the why.

I’ve always said I don’t write the blog posts for anyone except me so it’s nice to find them indexed in this way.

Can the same be said about your work. If you were asked to reflect back over 3,4, or 5 years, what is the narrative you are driving and how is it changing?
