
While I was away I realised the problem so many learning teams have with social learning.
They want to regulate the learning part when it’s the social part which drives it. But you can’t regulate the social bit without becoming the social police.
Learning people then spend more energy on limiting the learning bit in an attempt to maintain control.
Don’t. You can’t control social – you influence it.
Anyway social learning isn’t yours to control – it’s yours to include, and embrace.
