What’s stopping you?

Never has there been a better time to learn new things. Information is available via pretty much any channel at any time day or night.

So what’s stopping people learning? Is it all about gatekeeping? Is it all about accessibility? Is it all about chunking things down?

Probably not.

It’s most likely because it takes effort – learning can’t be injected into you – there’s a transactional element involved.

So what’s stopping you learning?

    Does everyone know how to find good free learning ? I’ll start the ball rolling by suggesting FutureLearn, edX and Microsoft’s own website as potential starting points. And for those who prefer an audiovisual experience, YouTube has some excellent – and some poor – material.

    Maybe a post sometime on your suggested methods for finding learning ? Or some of the websites that you utilise ?
