What you gonna do now?

A bright neon sign spelling out the word "NOW" in cursive pink letters, mounted on a red wall with a soft glow around the letters.

I posed a question last week:

A manager comes to you and tells you they want to learn some ‘new’ stuff. They’ve been on LinkedIn and found 70 free courses and certificates on soft skills, entrepreneurship, management, etc and want time to work through them with their team.

What would you do?

There were some brilliant responses about engagement, analysis, and support.

Let me frame the question differently and see how the responses change:

A manager wants to learn some ‘new’ stuff. They’ve been on LinkedIn and found 70 free courses and certificates on soft skills, entrepreneurship, management, etc and use time to work through them with their team.

You don’t know about it and it spreads throughout the organisation. You find out when people stop using your content, courses and learning materials.

What would you do?

Let me know your thoughts.
