Where do you get your learning?

An illuminated light bulb stands on top of a stack of hardcover books in a dimly lit room, suggesting inspiration or ideas.

A suggested in an article by Anil Dash, the phrase ‘wherever you get your podcasts’ is a deliciously complex and radical statement.

Wherever you get your learning is equally challenging. There is, of course, a significant difference between podcasts and learning; podcasts are content and learning is not.

If you asked your colleagues and partners ‘Where do you get your learning?’ what response would you expect?

  1. I believe that, in many cases, my colleagues would answer “You Tube”.

“You Tube” has some excellent resources for practical things – demonstrations of computer and IT solutions, mobile ‘phone questions etc. the problem with “You Tube2 is that there is lots of rubbish thereon and sifting the wheat from the chaff can be time-consuming.
