Name the problem

Black chalkboard with white stylised text reading 'NAME THE PROBLEM'

If you’re producing management development, the problem isn’t development, but underperformance.

If you’re supporting change strategies, the problem isn’t change, but the need to change.

If you’re developing learning activity, the problem isn’t leaning, but a gap in knowledge, experience, or application.

When you come to measure these things, don’t measure the former but focus on the latter. If you don’t you’ll be doing busyness not business.
