LinkedIn keeps changing how posts travel. Every few months I think we have a rough sense of the system, and then something shifts. Posts that should reach people stall, and the posts I almost didn’t publish travel much further.
The latest theory doing the rounds is about timing. The old Monday, Wednesday, Friday rhythm may no longer be optimal, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is now the suggested pattern.
I do not know if that is true. Most LinkedIn advice is based on partial data, platform hints, and people reverse-engineering patterns from their own feeds. This is useful and occasionally insightful but rarely definitive.
So the only sensible response is to treat it as an experiment.
From next week the main posts here move to Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I will still publish daily at lostanddesperate.com.
Nothing else changes. It’ll still be the same writing and same topics, just a different moment in the week.
I will report back in a month.
