I’m delighted to be able to announce this is happening. We’re recording shortly and wanted you to be involved. What’s it about?
Bozarth & Jacobs: Show Your Work is a podcast for L&D practitioners, capability leaders, and decision-makers who want reasoned debate rather than trend commentary.
Jane Bozarth and Andrew Jacobs work through the tensions, evidence, and practical realities behind learning decisions. Each episode puts ideas on the table and tests them against research, organisational context, and professional judgement.
This is not an interview show, and it is not a scripted presentation. It is a working conversation between two experienced practitioners. We bring cases, assumptions, disagreements, and live questions into the open. If we agree, we explain why. If we disagree, we keep the disagreement visible.
The show is for people working in L&D, OD, HR, private-sector, public-sector, regulated, and mission-led settings who are tired of learning fluff and easy answers. We focus on the issues that shape real capability and performance, including transfer, judgement, accessibility, informal learning, AI, measurement, and organisational outcomes.
Send us your tensions, bad assumptions, cases, and questions. We may bring them into a future episode.
I’m really looking forward to this, and so we can get your comments and thoughts beforehand, here is a list of the six episodes we’re scheduling:
- Does training ever actually work?
- Informal learning is either everything or nothing
- The evidence says X. Clients demand Y.
- AI in L&D: what are we actually talking about?
- Measurement is broken. Can it be fixed?
- What should L&D stop doing?
What do these topics make you think about? Please let us know in the comments and we’ll discuss them when we’re recording. The podcast will be available where you get your podcasts from, or bookmark the website.
