An L&D Manager, determined that Learning and Development should be an integral part of business activity. Too often managers ask for training as an afterthought, and, since L&D haven't been involved in the design, it fails. Let's get L&D included as an intrinsic part of business practice; we need to demonstrate its value, successes, and how it adds to the business performance.

Belief in the evidence

You’ve got all the evidence, the cost benefit analysis, the case studies, the business plan, the funding arrangements and the delivery plan. If you haven’t got belief in it, you’ll never be able to sell that to others and, whether in a week, month, or a year, they’ll regret it.
