Seth Godin’s blog post yesterday got me thinking about the placebo effect of training courses. We’re asked to run courses because ‘they work’. Is it the course which is really working or the effect of making the attention of someone, bringing them outside of their work environment, to discuss, reflect and ideate amongst themselves?
The cinema is little more than a fad. It’s canned drama. What audiences really want to see is flesh and blood on the stage. Charlie Chaplin Do you have a similar opinion about training courses?
