The tie that binds

I wore ties in work for 20 years. Every colour under the sun, I wore them to make me appear professional. It was an expected standard; I’ve not worn one for years now (with two exceptions ) in a work context.

Sometimes the context around us changes at such a slow pace that we don’t recognise it and find ourselves overtaken without noticing.

We need to pause sometimes and make sure we look up and around to make sure we’re still relevant.
